Is there a way to compute current inventory value?

I run an online comic shop with tons of inventory. I’ve assigned the print cost for each product in the “cost per item” field. At the end of each year I need to provide the value of the total inventory I have in stock for taxes (cost per item x number of items in stock). I’m wondering if there’s an easy way to do this through Shopify?
