I got someone on Fiverr to create a shop for me, he did and after he gave me access to the admin, sent an email so I could pay the hosting in Shopify, the email I got from was mailer@shopify.com, can anyone tell me if it’s legit, after I gave my credit card data something went wrong and now my store is inactive.
Is this a scam?

oh, it’s too weird.
if you hire a freelancer from the freelancing sites.
Mostly it happens like this, they will scam or Don’t expect the Customer’s needs.
So that’s I always recommend the Store owner to hire an agency.
if your Store is inactive then Contact the Shopify Support team.
