Scam. Ordered 2 Batania oil from mybotania.com in Nov 2024. Never received product. Cannot contact. Won’t reply to email. Reporting to BBB. Asking attorney friend to research owners, get money back.
same here and I’m also highly stressed. I’ve tried several channels of checking validity and emailing to no avail.
The same thing happened to me when I purchased a shirt from kookiasale. I think it is a scam.
I sent an email to Shopify and reported that I had not received my order and it’s been a month, but they really couldn’t do anything. SIGH! Beware of any online orders with many of these stores based in China.

This looks very suspicious and needs to be handled cautiously. A kind reminder here is to avoid placing orders on some strange or less trustful stores, or we will encounter situations like this. It is almost a spam, and we cannot get the order finally at all.

That email looks suspicious. Official Shopify order emails come from addresses like store@shopifyemail.com, not with extra parts like t.shopifyemail.com. The Gmail contact is also a red flag. Shopify wouldn’t use a personal email for support.
Don’t click any links. Check your actual Shopify account for any matching orders, and forward the message safety@shopify.com to confirm if it’s a phishing attempt.
The email shopifyemail.com and its subdomains are legit. They’re used to send emails on behalf of stores that have not had their custom domain authenticated. However, this could be an indicator of a scam or fake shop.
