Issue with Shopify Capital?

Has anyone had an issue with Shopify Capital? They are taking up to 3X what they should take to repay my loan- to the extent of $2500 more over the past two months. I have yet to receive a response to my four emails to them. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a way to get a hold of a live person?

I have sent 4 emails and 2 trouble tickets without a response. I am in the process of reporting this to the FTC for deceptive lending. All I require is a response/acknowledgment. I’m trusting it is a simple glitch.

It’s possible your emails have not been received. I suggest getting in contact with a support advisor via live chat who can access your account and investigate your situation immediately.

I’d personally stay away from any financing offered by Shopify, we took a small loan from them last year and soon realized right after what a joke it is. They try to reclaim as much as they can, as fast as they can at the expense of your business. We were repaying 17% a day our of our sales (not by choice), the payments per month were staggering! as in we could have bought and made payments on two brand new trucks from the fees we were paying back to them… We eventually just decided to pay it off with what we had so we could get out of it. They will take all you have and run you into the ground without a care in the world for what it does to your business.

Did you get a response to this? I think this is happening to me and they are gaslighting me into believing what I’m watching happening is not happening. Telling me my bank is the problem.
