Issues with Shopify and hotmail/live email accounts

I was told that Shopify were struggling to send emails to hotmail and live accounts. I sometimes don’t receive order notifications (only know I have an order when the app notifies me)

My main concern however, is that my abandoned checkout emails are saying they’re sent but are not actually being received by my customers. I tried it with my own email address, it says it has been sent, although I didn’t ever receive the email.

Any help would be great, thanks in advance.

Hey ! I see this post is from 2020 and you didnt get a response, its 2022 and Im having the same issue… Was it ever fixed. Did you find a solution. If so… I will appreciate your help. Thank you !

Unfortunately I never got a concrete answer. I was told that there was a bigger conflict between Hotmail etc and shopify and that Shopify were trying to convince outlook or whoever it is that emails from shopify shouldnt be regarded as spam.

I never followed it up or found out. Sorry.
