Yes absolutely here is step-by-step guide to create an email list from scratch.

(1) First you need to Enable Email collection on your store. Here is how you can do this:

  • Go to Shopify Admin > Settings > Customer Privacy.
  • Make sure email marketing consent is enabled at checkout.

(2) Add Email Signup on Your Website.

  • Go to Online Store > theme > Customize.
  • Go to footer Section and enable the Newsletter Signup block.
  • Now save it.

(3) Use Shopify Forms (or another app):

To Boost the signups install the free Shopify signup forms.

  • Go to Apps > Shopify App Store > Search “Shopify Forms”
  • Customize the form (popup, embedded, etc.)
  • Connect it to your marketing email list.

4. Collect Emails Automatically:

  • As customers sign up or place orders (and opt-in), Shopify automatically adds them to your Customers list.

5. View Your Email List

  • Go to Shopify Admin > Customers
  • Filter by “Email Subscriber = True” to see your email list.
