Looking for app that lets customer purchase 1 item at a sale price when they purchase another item

Hi,

I am looking for an app or somehow so when a customer purchases something at a sale price, they must purchase one other item are regular price

so again so a customer has to purchase at least one other item in order to get a certain item at a sale price

A great way to apply Buy X Get Y at a discounted price is to use automatic discounts. These can be set up directly within your Shopify admin and do not require the use of an app. The discounts are applied automatically when a customer meets the conditions, such as buying a specific item at full price, while receiving a sale price of 20% for another item. The customer will see this discount applied to their cart and the checkout page. Hi Mac,

We would also love a feature when you buy x and y you get both for x price - instead of % discount.

Eg: buy x for 199 and y for $100 you get both for $250

Is there an app that would handle this type of automatic discount?

I understand that you are looking for a solution to offer a Buy X Get Y for a certain price as opposed to a percentage off. I can definitely see why that would be a nice feature to have and I’ll share this suggestion with our development team as a feature request. Any updates will be listed in our Changelog. In the meantime, you can set up your automatic discount in the following way:

  • Fixed Amount
  • Enter discount value
  • Apply to a specific product or collection
  • Add a minimum quantity of items of two products

This will allow you to achieve a similar discount option as requested above. If you are still looking for another solution, You can check out a few apps like Bundles App | PickyStory, Quantity Breaks & Discounts, and Cart Upsell, Bogo, Buy X Get Y as they offer similar functionality.
