Make text on images seen as normal coded text

Hey so I made my website using images and I found a major problem where it doesn’t translate the text from my images to other languages. Since most of my visitors are from other countries I would like to get a fix asap. I also don’t know a thing about coding so a detailed step by step would be much appreciated. Would there be a way to code it so the text on the images is seen as normal text and can be translated?

Ok.

There’s two things you could try.

  1. Shopify Language Settings: Make sure that your store’s language settings are correctly configured. In your Shopify admin panel, go to “Settings” and then “General.” Under “Standards and formats,” select the desired language for your store.

  2. Try a translation app that will let you translate your image text into multiple languages.

I tried looking for apps that would translate my image but there are no free ones and the cheapest are around $20

This might work. Let me know.

The translation works for normal text but not for image text since it doesn’t know that there’s text on the image.

Can you send a screenshot of which image in particular you’re talking about?

If you’re talking about an actual “image”, code cannot change that. It will be part of the image itself and any text part of an image is final.

I’m talking about all images on my site that have text, I know code can’t change it but is there a way to make it detect that there’s text like a ocr or something.

I did some quick research as to a way to solve this but couldn’t find a solution, but I can keep looking and see if I find something and let you know in the future.

Just thinking out loud here - another option could be to try and detect the page language and show an image with translated text based on that language.
