Hello Shopify People,
I am just reaching out for information, or someone pointing me in a direction to get more information.
I am working on a custom Shopify theme/website. We have created an Out Of Stock template for products. This template is manually selected to still show the item, but the order form is not available and a message appears that this item is temporarily out of stock. Let’s call this product A.
Now, some of these products are part of a bundled product, (not using an app), just products bundled together as a single purchasable product…Product A, Product B and Product C. We’ll call this Product ABC. The client is looking for away if Product A is set to the Out Of Stock template, then Product ABC automatically gets set to the Out Of Stock template as well.
They are on Shopify Plus, but I have not see any scripts or flows that can accomplish this.
To me, it seems pretty simple to just set Product ABC to the Out Of Stock template, but they are insisting that this be done automatically.
Or, is there a way to add extra code into the Out Of Stock template that would make Product ABC not show when Product A Out Of Stock template is selected?
Has anyone dealt with anything like this? Any apps that can do this? I am not able to find any apps yet.
