Mark "sold out" without "Track Quantity" Enabled

Hello,

Is there a way to mark product sold out and disable customer from ordering without the “track quantity” enabled?

The reason I don’t want to track quantity is because it is next to impossible to do so for us. We have too many products that share the same parts and are dependent on each other.

Need to get quantity of product by liquid and if it is 0 then make the button disable and sold out.

This requires some coding knowledge on liquid and HTML
