Marking a Product as Sold Out when Quantity not Tracked

There is an option to not track quantity, but if I select this, how can I mark the product as sold out?

Why not track the quantity. Then set it to a really high number like 10,000. Then when you want to show something as sold out set it’s inventory to 0 (usually what triggers a sold out badge - unless that functionality is custom added)

Thanks. This is possible, but it is just not very user friendly.
