Mass updating Listing title & description via CSV questions:
Which column does Shopify use as “master” to determine which product is which?
If I only want to update the Listing Title and Body (HTML) without affecting other data such as quantity price, tags, etc., can I delete those columns? Only keeping the Listing Title, Body (HTML), and maybe URL Handle, and SKU?

To answer the first part of your question, the primary column used to determine which product is the “Product ID” or “Variant ID.” Each product in Shopify has a unique identifier, either the Product ID or the Variant ID, depending on whether you have multiple variants for a product.
The Product ID is a unique identifier assigned to the main product, while the Variant ID is a unique identifier assigned to each product variant. If you have products with multiple variants, each variant will have a unique Variant ID.
These IDs are crucial for tracking and managing products in Shopify. They allow you to differentiate between different products and variants, set prices, manage inventory, and track sales and performance accurately.
When integrating Shopify with other platforms or services, such as Facebook or Google, it’s common to map these Product or Variant IDs to ensure proper synchronization and data transfer between systems.
And to answer the second part of your question, the columns for “Listing Title,” “Body (HTML),” “URL Handle,” and “SKU” are essential for managing and displaying your products effectively. When I exported the CSV file, it did not have the Product ID or the Variant ID. It has “Handle” for column A, is this the same thing?
