UPDATE: Misrepresentation has gone

OK, so if you followed my previous comments you will know that I was suspended for Misrepresentation will today that has cleared

I deleted my google account, merchant account and ad account and removed all my listings from google - even unticking the google shopping on Shopify

I have reapplied and started again and all appears to be good

I still dont have any products pushed to Google yet, as wanted to see if the error occurred (if it had it is web related - if not it is product related)

I am going to leave it a little longer, then start to add the products per department, to see where the issue was

Ill keep you posted

BTW there are people on this forum trying to get you to part money for their services, I am doing my own thing but if you feel you wanna send me cash and ill tell you what is on the already on the web I am more than happy to take ya money LOL

Please note that creating new accounts is called circumventing policy violations : https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6150118?hl=en

If caught, say goodbye to your future on Google Ads.

This is a warning to honest merchants if they value their future. As I get a lot of customers to complain that they followed some guide, or advice online, assuming it was ok, to only regret the decision.

So if you do not want to hire someone for the service, ask your questions on Google’s official Ads community: https://support.google.com/google-ads/community?hl=en

just signed up to google product and now after 4 clicks I am officially a

Product Expert since February 2021

Congratulations on being a silver product expert (if you are a product expert already), keep up the great work and maybe in a 5+ years you will become platinum or diamond expert like me. If you like some advice and want to know more about advertising, feel free to ask the questions on our private community board.

However, I have not seen you say hello or post anything in the private silver community? I can’t see any contributions on the community? Are you using a different name?

Also, my biggest advice for you, when helping fellow merchants, always to reference official documentation. Otherwise, anything you say without official Google docs can be misleading and or incorrect. And even if the info was once correct, the document you referenced will be updated by Google, thus avoiding you ever stating anything incorrect.

And when you are an official Google Ads Product Expert, you have the responsibility to not say anything incorrect.

Therefore, as you have indicated you want to be a Google Ads Product Expert, you can not mislead others. I like to read the policy again regarding circumventing policy violations: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6150118?hl=en

I would recommend you to post a public link from our Google Ads Community with the same statements you made here on Shopify, so that Shopify community members can follow up on your findings, and see that other experts have verified that your statements are accurate.

No I just proved a point that you can be an expert by clicking a couple of buttons and getting a badge

If people wish to pay for services, that is there look out - simply pointing out there are people on here to make money rather than help and use google search to put links on here (like yourself) when you no access to Google itself

If you have looked at my previous comments you will have noticed deleting an account is what Google (I have various emails to prove it) advised if issue cannot be resolved to do (They work for google, not a web surfer)

The link you keep posting is manipulation of the account - you cannot ban an account that does not excist

Now I will get back to the real world and leave you to try and make money from your services

For everyone else, will let you know how I get on - if it is a working solution

Signing up for a program does not automatically make you a specialist, nor does it show you that you have any qualified experience. You’re just making up things to fit your narrative.

You assume that people hire me because I am a Platinum Product Expert, the only thing you focusing on is what is in my signature. 95% of my customers hire me, because I have helped them online, or they have found my info useful, or see that I have knowledge. And they need a person like me, to help them navigate Google’s complexities.

There is no need for you to have a personal vendetta against me, just because I am sharing official documentation, to warn others, which they can read and make their own assumptions.

I did not say you lied, or that you are wrong. I said that the person at Google who sent you this info is wrong. Because it simply violates the policy Circomventing Policy Violation

  • retailers who attempt to bypass our review processes

Creating a new account is bypassing the review because the review led to a suspension.

Even if you don’t read the policy, anyone would understand that creating multiple accounts when you have an existing suspended account, should raise red flags.

You see, the only way to avoid a permanent suspension, triggered by the above violation, is by closing down the new accounts, and resolve the original account suspension.

If you are confident your tactic is allowed, do you mind sharing your website URL? I would like to talk to my CM’s about your website. As you say, you are not violating this policy, there should be no reason for you to worry?

If what you say is allowed, I happily admit I’m wrong. But I need confirmation from Google with my CM’s, to do so, I need a reference so they can track down all the communication you had with Google. Thank you for sharing in advance, this will help resolve this discussion on my end.

I have thousands of posts, 50 or so videos, and hundreds of pages of content all free info on how to do everything related to Google Shopping yourself. And yes, even regarding how to resolve suspensions, is also freely available on my website. I offer a service for merchants that either don’t have the time, experience, or patience to do it themselves.

So yes, I make a living out of helping merchants achieve their goals. I have been doing this for 12 years. Like anyone working to stay alive, they get paid for the services provided. You sell products to earn a living, I offer services.

I hope you can take the time of sharing your findings on our Google Ads Community here: https://support.google.com/google-ads/community?hl=en

I also encourage you to use my public info, there is a lot of info that can help you improve your advertising, avoid suspensions, install required codes and more.

In any case, the only purpose of my replies is to educate merchants and avoid making mistakes. If you look at all my posts, articles, videos, etc. You should see the helping mentality I have.

I truly hope you get approved, and nothing worse comes out of your new accounts. Best of luck to you.

I found your website: https://jinsted.co.uk/

Here are things you are currently violating, and there are many more issues

Images, can not contain watermarks, logos or branding. Reference: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6324350

If you sold the facemask after April 2020, then this is the reason for suspension. Reference: https://support.google.com/adspolicy/answer/6015406#:~:text=Sensitive%20events

And: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/9811449

You need a billing terms and conditions page. Reference: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6363310?hl=en-GB

You need a shipping policy page. There is no direct policy regarding this, but it is required.

You have no track record of order fulfillment: https://www.google.com/shopping/ratings/account/lookup?q=www.jinsted.co.uk

You are missing availability status on your product landing page. reference: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/4752265

However, if you resolve all these issues, I doubt you will get approved due to multiple accounts. So make sure you close down any new accounts. Study up on the policies and then request a review.

I gave up. Sometimes I think Google just doesn’t want to give it to some websites, regardless if they qualify or not, and are within google policy requirements. Ive launched a website a month ago and been trying to get approved on GMC for this whole month, and no matter what i do…its always an immediate response within 1 hour of “NO” - Account suspended due to policy violation: Misrepresentation.

I have all necessary policy pages they wanted in both footer and in cart/checkout, a contact us page with all requirements, email, address, phone. And yet, they still wont tell me why they keep giving me the same cookie cutter response of “misrepresentation”. Even in multiple appeals (after being on ‘cooldown’ twice) where its asks if you would like to receive a phone call for updates, i always check (CALL ME)…and they never do.

Its always the same cookie cutter email response of “Account suspended due to policy violation: Misrepresentation”…always. Ive launched over 10+ websites using GMC in the past with zero issues, and i know how to set these up properly and follow the Google rules…but for some reason, this new website they just refuse to active this one.

I simply just gave up and will give my marketing money to elsewhere.

  • @SaberStuff *recently I have discovered that the problem can be shopify itself…

I created EXACT COPY of my store using another leading ecommerce platform. I have disconmected from google my shopify store and connected other platform. 2hr and missrepresentation has disappeared from my google merchant account.

I am assuming that it have something to do with policy (eg maybe it need to contain that you using shopify to run your business?), anyway today I have closed my shopify store because I had enough guessing what can be wrong. And basically after this post I’ll close my account on the shopify forum, because I have enough of reading so called “pro” about paying them to fix the store.

Same here. I have done everything possible and cant get approved. Support
told me my website is fine but still my account is not approved.

It could be my account history as I had another account previously that a
freelancer messed up. I was told to create another account and all will be
fine. I am using google search ads and getting some sales but I want to see
what ROAS i can get with google shopping ads.

Guess i ll never find out

@EmmanuelFlossie

Did you manage to get accounts unbanned? How much do your services cost?

Thank you about the comments for Jinsted - that is working perfectly fine (refer to my previous post)

Guys, keep ya chin up. I am still on it - added a product today and still all ok

Google now brought chat online into service and spoke to someone (yes a real person) last night and working to find a solution

I will keep you posted, without charging you anything. We will get everyone back online

@Vranklin yes I have. I have helped a lot of merchants. However, the success rate is very low for drop shippers. The reason non of my clients are complaining about my services is because I am honest and upfront about everything.

The ones that wanted to leave a review of my service have done so here: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/feedarmy.com

And if you want to learn by yourself, read all my posts here: https://support.google.com/google-ads/search?q=emmanuel+flossie&from_promoted_search=true

Please note, dropshipping is allowed, however, the issue is that a lot of merchants, just slap together with little effort and not reading policies. And in all honesty, Google’s policies for a merchant are very complex. And this is where all the issues come from, simply not reading or not finding all related policies.

And this is what my service is about, I have read all policies, and learned from helping other merchants personally and publicly over 12 years. Based on this experience I check your websites and Google Merchant Center for compliance. I do not offer any tricks or magic solutions. There are non. Just explaining to you all the issues I find and provide guidance on how to resolve them.

My consultation only helps you comply with policies, and help you improve your trust factors. There is no guarantee, of success. Do not hire anyone that claims a guarantee, as I am a Google Ads Premier Partner, I am not allowed to make any claims.

@Anonymous person. Don’t hire a person that claims to fix your store, yes if it’s a technical proven issue, for example, structured data is wrong, and you can fix it with coding. Never ever hire someone to resolve a suspended account on Google assuming it is 100% possible to get approved again. It is not. You need to work on several points. 1) Comply with Google policies, for example, @Jinsted did not, and I kindly provided all the official documentation. 2) Comply with local laws. 3) Have a high enough trust factor 4) Have a track record of order fullfillment.

@Jinsted Feel free to ask questions for help on Google Ads: https://support.google.com/google-ads/community?hl=en If you want more info.
