Merchant Center suspended because of misrepresentation

Hi there!

My Google Merchant Account has been suspended because apparently I violate the policy due to misrepresentation. Could you guys help me find out what is wrong because I have no idea. https://www.neduz.net

My availability-sheet says something is wrong about the address to the landing page not being in order, or something. I’m having a hard time thinking that this has anything to do to why my account has been suspended and that’s why I’m reaching out to you guys!

You are missing fundamental links in the footer, such as shipping, privacy policy, contact links.

Add your business details in the footer.

Add your payment logos in the footer

Do not use @gmail.com instead use an email that matches the domain name

Print on demand is not allowed: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6150127#:~:text=Unavailable%20promotions

Missing availability status on the product landing page.

These are just examples, you will have a lot more issues, and I recommend having a read here: https://community.shopify.com/c/Ecommerce-Marketing/Checklist-Suspended-Google-Merchant-Center-Account-Fix-amp/m-p/1086444/highlight/true#M39128

Thanks alot for your thorough reply!

But does that mean having a store based on POD products from Printful and Printify is auto-fail when listing on Google?

Considering the policy states you must stock items, yes, it’s a policy violation.

Hi Emmanuel! Is the email required to match the shop domain?, or can it be another branded email address.

Our shop is a discounted product site with a unique branded domain, but our parent company currently presents NAP in the footer. Is this a problem?

If you want to increase trust, make sure the domain name and email name match.

If the business information is all correct, no that is not an issue, unless you have created multiple websites.

Hello

Im getting these same account violations about. Can it be because I’ve added drop shipping items to my shop? I don’t physically have the items stocked in my shop.

Would that be considered misrepresentation?

I don’t know if dropshipping might be the reason, but if you do Print on Demand products these might actually be the culprit. It was for me as I’m using Printful and Printify.

Yes POD is not allowed as all items that you sell must be stocked. Reference: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6150127#:~:text=Unavailable%20promotions

@NikkoKelo I recommend you check the checklist I provided in the above reply.

I couldn’t find anything that would affect the GMC

I’m using a UK dropshipping model and my merchant account has been suspended for months now due to misrepresentation.

Has anybody been able to resolve this?

I fixed everything in my GMC and website that I can think of.

Every website has different issues, what got 1 website approved, will not mean it will work on another. The only way to fix it, is by resolving all potential issues.

Hi Emmanuel,

Is this something you can assist me with?

I’m looking to hire a consultation.

My account is not up for review again until 22 September.

Thanks.

Of course, feel free to contact me, details below.

No problem, I’ll contact you in a few days thank you.

How about listing for Leaser Engraving Items? Wood Photo – Fantastech Styles Does google allow this kind of product? or only finished goods? thank you.

If it’s offered as an optional feature, it is ok. Meaning you have to sell the item without engraving as a basic product, then offer a non forceable engraving option.

@EmmanuelFlossie

Can you please help to check my site?

My GMC worked fine before after I moved my domain to IONOS, There were some days the site couldn’t be accessed due to domain migration issues, and after it was back, GMC got suspended:

Based on the information available about your business, there is reason to believe that customers are being misled on Google. Review the Misrepresentation policy and make changes to your Merchant Center and/or online store.

Make sure your Merchant Center and online store follow the following best practices / guidelines

  • Provide transparency about your business identity, business model, policies and how your customers can interact with you
  • Promote your online reputation by showing reviews or highlighting any badges or seals of approval
  • Use a professional design for your online store that includes an SSL certificate help_outline
  • Provide information in the business information settings in your Merchant Center help_outline
  • Follow SEO guidelines, improve your eligibility for seller ratings and match your product data in your Merchant Center with your online store

Can you please help to check it why? actually, I didn’t make any changes during the domain migration.

Thank you.
