Hi there, we are using Simprosys for our feeds to Merchant Centre. The push through 2 feeds, one for local and free listings, and one for ads, etc…

However on merchant centre it says the local inventory feed does not include the kindly “add the missing “store code” attribute to your feed”.

How can we fix this, because in Merchant Centre under Business Infor, under stores it shows the GBP.

Help would be appreciated.

So every Local Inventory Feed needs to include a store code attribute. The store code should match your physical store code that you have set up in your Google Merchant Center > Business Information > Stores (or via your Business Profile).

Even if you see your GBP connected, the feed still needs the store code explicitly. This is how Merchant Center is able to map products to your physical store.

So here is the fix:

Add the store code in Simprosys

  • Open your Simprosys Google Shopping Feed app in Shopify.

  • Go to Settings → Local Inventory Feed.

  • You should see an option for Store Code.

  • Enter exactly the same store code shown in your Merchant Center store list.

  • If you have multiple store locations, you’ll need to manage a separate local feed for each (Simprosys supports multiple feeds per store code).

  • Save the settings and resync the feed.

  • Simprosys automatically includes the store_code field once it’s defined in your configuration.

  • Then sync it and check if the error is gone.
