Meta APP

Hello - I added the META APP for Facebook and IG ads. The app created “Pixel” didn’t carry over to meta’s business center when I was trying to create an ad.

I did everything on the meta side to get the pixel to work but it kept creating a new and different pixel… ended up with 3 pixels but whenever i wanted to create an ad for the shopify store - i couldn’t choose the Pixel created the in shopify/meta app.

I decided to uninstall the app in shopify then purge/remove access within meta.

I want to now re-install the meta app but shopify won’t complete the installation and continually returns to the same

Thanks for your query.

Your first issue was caused by not integrating the pixel with the ad account. from the data source, select the pixel and connect the asset (ad account)

2nd problem can be solved by the facebook support.
