Hi there fellow Shopify family.
Another frustrating change here to deal with but installing Microsoft Clarity used to be fairly simple and is now near impossible. Does anyone know how to properly install the tracking code? We are seeing that the usual method is depreciated, should we use that? Leveraging Customer Events and attempting to add the code by creating a new pixel is erroring and the editor wont let us edit anything on the order status page :

i’m also in the same boat
Seeing this was viewed over 100 times so far without comments tells me a lot of others are in the same boat.
That’s not a solution that is spam
On Microsoft Clarity how to page, they have a message saying that they are working with Shopify to solve this problem.
But it seems to be possible to reactivate the checkout field to input the code (until December 31).
And I think the limitation will be only to track the checkout page. Every other tracking made on the home page, products page, etc, will still work with the code placed on theme.liquid.
But I think this is a valid post to show Shopify there are people interested in this.

Highly valid indeed - the question is how can we get shopify to have eyes on this?
it seem the script you now put into the theme should now cover both the Storefront and Order Status pages. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/clarity/third-party-integrations/shopify i’m not sure that is correct, can someone verify.
What context are you talking about with Liltruck?
Months later and still a problem for me.
