Month-end inventory snapshot Still not available

Hi there

This fantastic report which shows full product hierarchy detail and inventory ending quantities consistently and can be pulled post month end called "Month-end inventory snapshot " seems to be delayed each month.

Does anyone know what the solution is or how to work around it?

I’m having this same issue. It’s June 1, but May not available. Anyone know the length of time after month-end before this info is available?

did you figure this out? Stuck with the same problem.. Do I just need to wait and then its suddenly there?

Yes, it seems like it’s available around the 5th of the month.

Same issue here. Sorry that we are all having this issue, but glad to know it’s not just me.

I am having the same issue. Today is Jan 6th 2021 and I still can’t see the inventory value for the end of last year.

Any idea when this info should be available? I have no problem seeing previous months, is just Dec 31st which is not showing.

Has anyone ever contacted Shopify to ask why there is such a delay in getting this report? It’s almost like there has to be human contact with getting this report generated. All the inventory tracking is automatically updated with each transaction so it seems like this report should just be generated automatically as well. Does Shopify have to do some kind of actual physical closing of the previous month before this info can be published? Just seems like something Shopify should address with as many people who have inquired and complained of this same issue. There are other threads, besides this one, about this same issue.

Yep, same issue here. Just checked this morning and no December data! Makes it really difficult to do a year-end inventory count without it. I don’t understand what takes so long…all the data is there…the report should be easy!

It’s the 7th January 2021 and I have been looking for this number since 1st Jan. I know that it can take some time for this number to arrive but I just contacted support via the chat and they couldn’t help me and just said that they would have to raise it to their developers. So basically no help at all :disappointed_face:

Yeah this is not good. January 8th and still no month-end inventory reports available. Why isn’t Shopify team weighing in on this thread? I would have expected some sort of formal communication on this issue. December inventory is an important one as many businesses have their year-end on Dec. 31 and require this value. I don’t understand why after over a week the report is not yet available. In fact, I don’t understand why there is a delay at all.

My bookkeeper needs this NOW. It’s the 8th of January and still no inventory valuation and ZERO response from Shopify support.

WTF?

If by the 10th is not available, I will contact customer support.

My accountant is waiting on this for inventory tax.

I just now tried and it’s there! But it’s 9:00 p.m. ET on January 9. This is unacceptable on the part of Shopify!

Me again. The report was there. I was checking down through it. I clicked ā€˜edit columns’ to add a column and when I did, it all went away and once again says ā€œNo data found for the date range selected.ā€ I have no words!

I just check and mine is there now.
