More than 1500 visitors everyday from 5 days but no orders or sign ups?

Topic summary

A store owner reports receiving 1,500+ daily visitors for 5-7 days with zero orders or signups, seeking help to identify issues.

Technical Issue Identified:

  • The checkout button appears blocked/unclickable for 4-5 seconds due to the AOID All-In-1 Discount app. The button remains disabled until the aoid_cart_loaded class is added.

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Recommendations:

  • Add countdown timer to announcement bar to create urgency
  • Replace collection icons with actual product images for easier decision-making
  • Include “Add to Cart” buttons on product listings to streamline purchasing
  • Add customer reviews section to build trust and social proof
  • Implement sticky header menu for improved navigation
  • Add testimonial section with authentic customer feedback

Performance & Marketing Concerns:

  • Page speed scores (especially mobile) are low; optimization needed via Google PageSpeed Insights or Lighthouse
  • Consider whether traffic is reaching the target audience—possibly 95% of visitors are outside the target market
  • Focus on marketing strategies: social media ads, email campaigns, and promotions to drive qualified traffic

Hi @Yrn2892
I checked your store and i suspect that the checkout button on cart and on the popout cart is blocked or not clickable for like 4 to 5 seconds & may be this app is causing the issue : AIOD ‑ All‑In‑1 Discount.
Until this class aiod_cart_loaded is not added to checkout button the checkout button remains disable.

Hi @Yrn2892 ,

This is Kate from PageFly - Shopify Landing Page Builder App.

Congratulations, you’ve reached a milestone of 1500 visitors! I’ve browsed your store and am quite impressed with the design. Based on my extensive knowledge in CRO, I recommend the following suggestions to improve your conversion rates:

1. Add countdown timer on the announcement bar

Set up a countdown timer on the announcement banner to instill a feeling of urgency, since this offer is only available for a short duration.

2. Adjust image for collection list section

For the collection list, it’s more effective to use actual product images rather than relying on icons. Customers find it easier to make decisions when they can see actual product images. It reduces the cognitive load of trying to imagine what the product looks like based on an icon.

You can check this sample design for preference:

3. Add “ADD TO CART” button

With this button on each product in the list, customers can quickly add items to their cart without navigating away from the page. This streamlines the shopping process, making it more user-friendly.

Like this:

4. Add customer reviews section on homepage

Displaying real opinions and experiences adds credibility to your brand and products. It shows that you are confident in your offerings and open to customer feedback.

5. About your product page

Could you please investigate the issue with the shopping cart? Despite clicking the ‘Add to Cart’ button, it seems the cart hasn’t updated accordingly.

And please remember to incorporate relevant keywords in the title and description that align with what customers are searching for, to enhance search engine optimization (SEO).

6. About the page speed

Google suggests two tools for page speed measurement:

  • Google PageSpeed Insights (PSI) - User-friendly with a basic score and tips to enhance speed.
  • Lighthouse - Offers detailed speed insights but is more complex to use.

I have checked the performance of your store, and the mobile score is quite low. Please review and improve your page loading speed you can consider these 4 strategies:

  • Optimize your images for faster loading.
  • Minimize server requests and eliminate unnecessary apps.
  • Construct your page using optimal development practices.
  • Strike a balance between user experience and quick page load times.

These tips are a bit long, but please read them all the way through. Best of luck with your business.

Keep doing great work!

Hey,

Your store design looks very good. I think, at the current stage, you should focus on marketing to your target audience. Maybe 95% of those 1500 visitors are outside of your target market? Additionally, I am obviously biased here as an app developer, but you need social proof. I know you don’t have many reviews yet on your products, so try out Platoria AI reviews app from the Shopify store. It will work very well with the products you offer and has a free plan.

All the best and good luck!

Hey there,

Congrats on your store it looks absolutely stunning! I think it has a great potential and I am sure it will thrive! I have some suggestions that may help in order to start selling.

  1. Smooth sailing starts with easy navigation. I suggest you think about adding a sticky header menu, it is like a helpful guide, leading customers straight to what they’re looking for.

  2. Add a testimonial section. Encourage happy customers to leave their thoughts. Authentic feedback can be a game-changer, helping new customers trust your store and products.

  3. Consider spreading the word about your store through marketing. Social media, email campaigns, and ads can help draw attention to your fantastic products. Special promotions or discounts can get the excitement going. You can even create a special custom offer to your clients based on their previous purchases.

Building a successful online store is a big journey but your site has a lot of potential and I am sure you’re start selling. Hope that my suggestions will help! Wishing you all the success in your e-commerce adventure :slightly_smiling_face:
