Hello,
I have established my Shopify store and started running it nearly 25 days ago. I am getting good number of visits, added to cart and checkout trials but with no conversion. Up to now I have more than 3000 site visitors and 40 checkouts without conversions. Most of my checkouts and visitors are from Europe countries. I have thought of limited payment options which was only PayPal and therefore added payment with cards. I would like to know if these numbers of visitors and checkouts with no conversions are normal or should I expect any issue with my checkout process that is blocking customers from converting.

Appreciate any positive feedback.

Hi,
No, those numbers are not normal, you should have had a number of conversions.
To give you an idea of what 1 of my personal stores did recently:
Added to cart - 164
Reached checkout - 127
Checked out - 90
Having gone through your checkout process, you appear not to have the card payment options set up at the checkout stage. Only at the cart stage.
This would put a lot of people off, not because there’s anything wrong with PayPal, but because your customers would expect to see card options (most will pay by card).
They will also see the checkout button under the subtotal and immediately click on it. The card payment option disappears at that point.

Alex
Thank you Alex for the informative response. I will try to find a solution for the card payment option.
