My (Buy it now button) redirects me to the cart instead of the checkout. How can i fix that?

I would like to make my buy it now button on the product page redirect me straight to check out instead of the cart. How can i update that?

Is anyone able to help me with this ?

In order to provide some context, The Buy button is displayed next to the Add to cart button and can be used to buy only single variants of a product. These buttons display Buy it now text, and when a customer clicks on it, they skip the cart and go directly to the Shopify checkout. Although, you mentioned that this is not the case for yours, so I’d love to look into it. Are you able to walk me through the process of adding the button to your store? Which theme are you currently using? Also, feel free to share the URL to the product page and I can take a closer look.

Have you also considered adding branded buttons? These buttons show the logo for a third-party accelerated checkout method. When a customer clicks a branded button, they complete their payment with that accelerated checkout method. Let me know if you’d like to learn more!

Thank your reply. The theme I am using is DEBUT. When I open the product section where the product is displayed there are two buttons as you mentioned add to cart and buy it now. when I click on the buy it now it redirects me to an empty cart.

I went over to your store and navigated to the WARMBELT product page. From there, I was given two options, Add to cart or Buy it now. I clicked on the Buy it now button and was immediately directed to the check out page. I also tested out the Add to cart button and that is working as expected as well. Are you able to try this on a different device or browser? Kindly let me know if this issue persists.

While browsing your store, I did notice that you have a blank section on the home page. I’d suggest updating this as soon as possible as some customers may be hesitant when viewing an incomplete store.

Another great suggestion is to add Shopify Inbox to your shop. This app allows you to interact with potential customers and provide tailored recommendations, should they have any questions. This is done through a chat option that is located directly on your store and integrates with other messaging channels like Facebook Messenger and Apple Business Chat.
