My customers can not edit their account information (address, phone number, etc)

Hi there,

I am a Shopify Business Owner, currently using the Expression Theme that I bought several weeks ago.

It was all going smoothly until I started to receive complaints from my customers about the fact that they aren’t capable of editing their own account information like their addresses, phone number and other details. I still do not know if this is a problem of the theme I bought or the Shopify itself.

Before I send you this message, I searched in this forum for similar problems and I found a few so it leads me to believe that this is, in fact, a problem of the Shopify platform.

Is anyone out there who could help me, please?

Hello Carolina,

It’s not the issue with Shopify. It’s with the theme and custom code conflict.
To confirm, open the account page Inspect it and check console. Most probably you will find errors there which prevent the customers to edit their address.
If you are not sure how to check it, please share your store url with dummy customer username and password.
