Hi

Congrats on your new store. Getting sales is not as easy as everyone makes it sound.

If you are getting traffic but no sales, I recommend seeing where you are getting this traffic. Do they have high intent, or are they casually browsing? Here are some steps I will do to debug

  1. Analyze visitor behavior. Are they spending any time on your site? Are they looking at multiple products? Are they adding products to the cart?
  2. Segment visitors into various traffic sources and see if there is a source where buyer behavior is better. E.g., Are organic visitors spending more time on your site and adding products to the cart? Can you get more visitors from this source?
  3. If visitors are adding products to the cart and not checking out, maybe there is a price problem. You can use discounts to help them convert to a paid customer.

Honestly, conversion optimization is a vast topic. Google Shopping, Facebook ads, etc., are good places to start if you have a budget to run ads.

Hey there, here are few things you need to ensure you have in your store in order to attain optimum conversion rate.

  1. Make sure there are latest arrivals and best sellers sections on the homepage. These would separate crucial products from the crowd.

  2. There should be customer reviews on the homepage. This would help build the level of trust that customers have in your store.

  3. Put an add to cart button on each product page. This would help make it easier for customers to add products that they like to their carts and will likely lead to an increase in sales in the store. You can download the add to cart button app here https://apps.shopify.com/add-to-cart

I wish you and your store the best of luck!

Hello @Esitsisters ,

Gina here from flareAI - your Fully Automated Free Sales Machine. Can you please share your store URL? I am suggesting a few techniques that can help increase your store sales.

  1. Organize product collections/categories effectively
Make sure your customers experience better and more simple navigation through your store.
  2. Site navigation menu should be easy to use
Your site’s main header navigation menu should contains links to collections, pages like Contact Us, About Us, FAQ etc. The footer navigation menu should contain links to Privacy policy, Terms of service, Return & Exchange policy, Shipping policy.
  3. Use high quality images
Product images help shoppers visualize the item they’re buying. This helps increase conversion rates as well as reduce return requests.
  4. Provide Limited Time Offers
Providing limited-time offers is an excellent way to increase your Shopify store.
  5. Use Trust Badges
Trust badges are crucial for every eCommerce store. Until people trust you with their credit card information, they won’t make a purchase. A few ways to establish trust with potential customers are: Install an SSL certificate in your store, display small images of credit cards and other payment options, add social buttons that take your customers to your social media accounts, display your contact info (phone number, email address, and office address) prominently.
  6. Mobile friendliness
Websites that are mobile friendly, in general, will outrank non-mobile friendly sites in mobile search results.
  7. Get Customer reviews
Displaying reviews on your Shopify store is that it helps strengthen your brand’s credibility and reliability.
  8. Remind abandoned cart customers
With abandoned cart emails, you can remind your customers of the items they expressed interest in and then left your store with no intention of returning. You can do this from your store Settings > Checkout > Abandoned Cart section > Choose to send abandoned cart emails either one, six, 10, or 24 hours after a customer abandons a cart.

use tag manager, use heatmaps, to see how the user is interacting with your website,
see if the traffic is relevant ( are you ranking for the right keywords with the right intent ?)

there are so many variables, we don’t have enough data to give you valuable recommendations

but the first thing to do is to look at the data :

  • GTM

  • heatmap

  • keyword ranking

  • CRO ( PDP structure )

DM me if you want to talk about it
