Exclusively code will not entirely fix your issue - you need to make an image that is appropriate for mobile devices and create custom code to change it dynamically. This would require hiring a Shopify developer to assist you with proper code.
That said, you can try this simpler fix:
- Go to online store > edit code.
- In your theme.liquid file, find the (press CTRL + F or command + F on Mac)
- paste this code right above the tag:
This is the best that can be done with code.

Store is open now but I don’t see what exactly the problem is
The background is stacking on top of each other on mobile, its not just 1 picture
Yep, I’m aware - as mentioned, this is the only thing that can be done with code in your current case.
Ideally you’d not want to have a background image covering the entire website, or it will either:
- repeat itself
- look small to preserve the aspect ratio leaving the other parts image-less
