"myshopify.com refused to connect" window on shopify store

Hi

For some unknown reason a window appears on every page on my site saying “myshopify.com refused to connect”. I have tried clearing the browser cache and data but it still appears.

I am using my own domain. When I connect via the myshopify link I don’t have this problem.

Can you share the domain’s URL so that I can check it here on my side, I can see when I visit https://mymist-1297.myshopify.com/ there are no errors appearing for me. As you mentioned, you already cleared the cache and data, can you try these further troubleshooting steps below for me?

  • Try a different web browser, as well as incognito or private windows to rule out any browser issues.
  • When using incognito, if you’re still experiencing a delay, confirm you have disabled browser extensions, as these can change how pages function and look.
  • Ensure your web browser is up-to-date on the latest version (we don’t support every browser, but we do support these here).
  • Try another device like a computer or mobile phone.
  • Try on the Shopify Mobile App; this is usually the best step to try, as it will rule out any browser issues.
  • Ensure you do not have any firewalls or pop up blockers enabled on your device, as these can interfere.

I went ahead and accessed your store at https://roomspaces.com.au/ and I don’t seem to be seeing the myshopify.com refused to connect error message. Here are some screenshots of a few pages:

I also accessed your site from my phone and didn’t see any error messages there either.

Are you still seeing the error on your end? If so, can you access the Domains section of your admin (navigate to Settings > Domains) and see if there are any error/warning messages? If so, please share a screenshot of the page and I can dig into this with you.
