Need Help: Automated Post-Purchase Email + Payment Workflow for Third-Party Service Redemption

Hi all. Seeking Shopify advice from the good folks here.

Short version: can one make Shopify issue customers of a specific product with a specific (coded) post-transaction email?

Context:

I sell a service online. I would like to start selling this in e-com stores running Shopify. The stores would list the product on their site as they do any other product and the customer would redeem the service with me post checkout, e.g. an experience voucher.

Bonus points for ideas on how to also automate the payment processing from the third party to me.
