Need help connecting a FREE OFFER with subscribing to my email

Can anyone help me understand how to connect my email sign-up straight to a free offer so I can build my email list? I have my "subscribe to my email all set up and on all my website pages, but how do I specifically create an email sign up so it triggers for them to get the free offer which would be different than just signing up for my regular emails? How do I make them two separate email sign ups so only the people who want the free offer get it and people who just want to get on my email for my regular newsletters get that? I am so confused!

To offer a freebie through email sign-up, you’ll want to create a separate form just for that offer (using Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc.). When someone signs up through that form, you tag them (like “freebie”) and set up an automated email that sends them the free gift. Your regular newsletter sign-up stays the same and doesn’t trigger the freebie. This way, only people who want the offer get it, and your main list stays clean.

To achieve two separate email sign-ups on Shopify one for your free offer and another for your regular newsletter, you need to use email marketing automation integrated with Shopify. Here’s a step by step breakdown.
Step 1:
You can consider to use an app for that there are many apps available in Shopify app store.
Some are listed below.

  • Klaviyo (Best for Automation).
  • Omnisend
  • Mailerlite
  • Privy

Step 2: In this step you have to create two different signup forms. First form for Newsletter Sign up and second for free offer signup.
In klaviyo you can easily create multiple form and assign them based on the tag.
Step 3: In the Step 3 you need to automate the free offer delivery. You can create a welcome flow for that.
Step 4: In this step you need to add both of the forms in your site.
After following these steps you will see twio different email segments in your email automation tool.
