Hi, I’m using the Dawn theme and I’d like to rearrange the sections on my homepage (Read More). Specifically, I want the featured products to appear above the slideshow. Is there a way to do this through the theme editor or do I need to edit the code?

did you try to rearrange on Theme Editor? if separate section then we need edit by code

Hi! If you’re using the Dawn theme, you don’t need to edit the code to rearrange homepage sections like placing Featured Products above the Slideshow — you can do it easily through the Theme Editor. Here’s how:
Steps to Rearrange Sections in the Theme Editor:
From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
- Click “Customize” on your live (or preview) Dawn theme.
- In the left sidebar, you’ll see a list of homepage sections (like Slideshow, Featured Products, etc.).
- Simply drag and drop the Featured Products section above the Slideshow.
- Click Save (top right).
This is what you have to do , you can swap those sections without touching any code.
go to Online Store > Themes > Customize, then in the sidebar grab “Featured products” by its drag‑handle and slide it above the “Slideshow” section.
click on Save, and refresh , after this your featured products will now greet visitors before your slideshow.
