Hi - You can use a plugin for Chrome called TableCapture https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/table-capture/iebpjdmgckacbodjpijphcplhebcmeop?hl=en to download the URLs. It’s free, you don’t need the Pro version for this.
Thanks but not working in the Files
Hi - Definitely works because I tried it before recommending it.
install plugin
go to files page/section in Shopify
right click on the page
select ‘Table Capture - Launch Workshop For Selection’
select the ‘Copy to Clipboard’ icon
paste into Excel (or whatever you are using)
Awesome Jon!! You have made my day !! Wish you a very Happy New Year and loads of Success and Income!!

Ishani
No problem, glad I could help.

OK, glad it helped. My website is still a work in progress, but sure you can use the contact form on there or just DM me on here.
Got it
Thank you again.
what page exactly should i take an export from? it doesn’t work for me..
@Claudia12 in this thread we are talking about the assets that are saved in Settings>Files
Hi all,
I have downloaded that tool, followed all steps but the tool is not launching at all. Any idea? Iam using Mac.
Shopify had the wonderful idea to update the interface of the files upload page using a button to copy the link, hence blocking the table capture feature to copy the url.
You now save one right-click when you import images manually for each product.
Because users found a free shortcut to retrieve batch urls of images, Shopify blocked that swift & nifty trick by changing the interface so they can make more money with apps that does the same for a fee.
$$$
It seems as if Shopify blocked table capture from this feature.
Which apps will do the same thing?
File list is downloaded, but the URL (with the variant variable) is not, as it requires to press a button for each file. Is there a way to download a list of files and their variant or URL of each?
When you export your product from the product section, as a csv file, it should give you the url of the images in column Y (Img Source), no?
Did you find a solution for this or an app? I have 300 images that I am about to upload and then add to products. Nightmare if I have to do this manually.
