I’ve had my store for a year and have only 1 sale. I pay my monthly fee and to me its a waste of money. What can I do to get sales?

The best strategy depends on testing, each merchant will have different strategies what works.

If you have zero sales, then I would test by using standard shopping first, so that you can learn, and understand what search terms are triggering your products.
Then exclude what is irrelevant or costs too much.
