Need to add a landing page after customer opts-in after newsletter subscription

Hello,

I am hoping someone can help me with this (I’m a total newbie here, just launched my site). I have an email sign up in my footer. I have my notification settings set for the customer to opt-in after they sign up for the newsletter. So, they receive an email (that I have customized) asking them to click the button to confirm they want to subscribe. I tested my email message and when I click on “subscribe” in the opt-in email, I am taken to a blank page on my website. My question is, how/where do I insert the landing page URL after they confirm their subscription?

I apologize! I was having this problem because I was clicking the link from within a TEST email. It worked perfectly when I actually subscribed and clicked from an actual subscription email.
