Need to enlarge text in the Variant picker and Quantity selector dropdowns in Dawn

Dawn Theme - I have read and tried multiple suggestions for enlarging the font size in the variant picker and quantity selector dropdowns, but so far none of them have worked. I managed to enlarge the label, but not the item text within the dropdown. My store is not live yet, so I have included a screenshot of what I am talking about.

Thanks for the response, but it didn’t work. When I added it, it said:

‘ “select_ _select” does not appear to be used in this section. Try a different selector. ‘

It is not a live site yet and I am not comfortable handing out the password here.

In case the custom-css validation is being dumb, or in case elements are frontend generated, try a custom-liquid block/section in that area or on the page.
And in that custom-liquid wrap the css in a style block <style>...</style>

This way you at least know the code CAN work and just needs more work to be used in a custom-CSS setting

Sorry, I’m not sure whether you’ve already managed to fix the issue with enlarging the text inside the Dawn theme dropdown, but if you’re still looking for an easy, quick, and code-free solution, I’d like to introduce you to a highly effective solution — the Easify Product Options app.

Instead of editing your theme’s CSS (which can be complicated and easily overwritten whenever the theme updates), you can simply replace Shopify’s default dropdown with Easify’s customizable dropdown. All font sizes, font styles, colors, and more can be adjusted directly from the app’s Settings interface — no coding required.

This allows you to create a much cleaner and more visually appealing options section compared to the default Dawn theme, fully aligned with your brand’s style.
