Nested menu items are not showing when i have them organized in the drop down menu

I products and collections all in the correct spots are nested. When i go to the site the menu does not show those options. I am in the impact theme.

@nobadshop - we can take a quick look to see if it is something simple, from your screenshot they are set up properly - we would just need your url to send you a collaborator request.

does this work?

https://nobad.store/

@nobadshop - Yes; your store requires a code for us to request collab access. You can find the code in your admin under “users and permissions”. If you don’t want to share here, feel free to shoot it in an email (my personal email is below). Once I have that, I will send you a request and take a quick look to see what is going on. Thanks, Paul

Hi there, @nobadshop . Thanks for taking the time to reach out to the Shopify Community Forums with your menu situation here! My name is Imogen. It’s good to meet you!

Usually, when you make changes to your theme or menus and those changes aren’t reflected after saving the change, it’s due to the browser you’re using not updating the content on your end due to some saved data related to your browser’s cache/cookies.

I attempted to access your site using the link you shared, but your store is password protected. If you like, you can remove the password page, or provide the password to access the store (not the password you use to login to your account!) here so we can take a look at see how the menus appear on our end!

If you’re still experiencing issues with the menus since you originally posted this thread, then I recommend reaching out to your theme developers for some additional support with creating nested menus. Additionally, you can reach out to our Support Team to see if we can provide you with some assistance. As you’re using a third party theme, our scope of support for your theme may be limited, but we can still take a look!

Hello imogen,

thank you for the response. Here is the collaborator request code 5563 I hope this works.

Hello, thank you for your response. Here is the request code 5563

@nobadshop what is the password that you have set up to gain access to the storefront?

@nobadshop - due to the limitations of my access, I wasn’t able to look in the navigation section of the theme, however it doesn’t appear as if the mega menu is linking. As was stated by Imogen, it very well could be a coding issue, or it could be a small step that wasn’t completed. I don’t mind going back in with increased access and reviewing your navigation set up, but first you should update your theme as it appears there was a new release, and you always want the latest version running (as some updates include bug fixes). Let me know if you would like me to review again after you have updated.

I appreciate the quick response! I went ahead and updated the theme. Still looks like the nested menus arent working. Here is the new access code 0318 I will update your acsess once the request comes through! Thank you!

@nobadshop - If you look at the below screenshot, this is what your store will look like in full screen mode; the mega menu is there. I am not so familiar with the theme that you are utilizing, however as you know it has three different menu inputs. The one titled “menu” is where the mega menu links. The secondary menu is linked to the mobile view, and of course the footer menu is self-explanatory. This menu works differently than the mega menus I have worked with in other themes, as this one doesn’t appear to be functional on mobile (if you look at the notes under “secondary menu”, it states that it will not be a drop down and should only contain a few items. You will also notice when in full screen mode, this secondary menu sites right hand justified (the mega menu is centered). You may be best served to reach out to the app developer Maestrooo to ask for guidance on that secondary menu because it is a bit odd in function. If you remove it, there is no menu on mobile view, however when you have it you have that odd right-justified secondary menu. They very well may tell you that you have to create a special menu under navigation for that secondary spot. I went so far as to review the developer’s guide for this theme, to no avail.

I wish I could be of more help, I tested quite a few different configurations, which would fix one issue but create another which doesn’t help. Usually, a mega menu is a very simple set up and works in all views, this one is not that way.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any other needs, but the developer will be the best source on this one.

@nobadshop - oops, here is the screenshot:

Thank you for your deep dive. I have went ahead and contacted the developer with the information you provided
