Hi @PoW8 welcome back, that’s horrible they’ve forced a Dev IDE onto merchants like this.
Your are not alone, neither is your specific issues as there are many Many MANY other problems with this arrogant feature.
Please also reach out DIRECTLY to shopify support and complain about this frustrating change overcomplicated feature disrupting your business. https://help.shopify.com/ ask for “support advisor” or “human” to try and get past the bot.

Today I was faced with a new theme editor that is much slower and harder to read than the original, it also doesn’t give you warnings for unclosed “body” and “html” tags. If you’re looking for any feedback before making this a permanent change, let me tell you that it is much worse than the old version, despite the version control feature. Shopify new Theme Editor

we can’t find the file from the whole theme, there is no search option for that, what the strange thing is that this is the nacessary and important part to be notice. @shopify_252 @shopifyteam @shopifypremisfoliage @shopifycom @Shopify_Community
