So i wanted to buy this set of perfumes from this link of tiktok and at the time i didnt know what shopify was until this happened. I tried buying the set from the tiktok link and it said it didnt work,then just searched up the link on google and tried again but it didnt work so i just left it. But then 5 mins later the money got taken out of my account and then another random charge of around £40 got taken away! So i thought then that it must have just been a glitch on the page because if money had been taken that means that the order has been placed right? But i didnt get any confirmation order.I was stupid enough to not sign into an account when i bought it BUT at checkout i put in my email and phone number but still nothing.The site ended in myshopify.com and i heard someone say that this means the site is inactive is this true? Can anyone help me with all of this?
Sorry to hear about your bad experience. There are a lot of scams and most do a similar way. Mass ads on social media attract customers and then they either send some garbage or do not send anything and disappear.
You should first try to contact your bank, explain it is a fraudulent transaction and maybe they could stop both and you get your money back. You should try to get some proof. Maybe some email in the spam folder or some info on transactions, like where money is sent. You should check your browser history and search for myshopify.com. And please share here also that link.
