NORTH Theme - product variant selector not reflecting in checkout

Asking for help,

Theme used is “North” shopify template. we have products with color variants available in the product description. but once color is selected and added to cart, the cart shows the wrong color selected. can anyone help this to be fixed? would greatly appreciate it.
