I’ve spent $50 for one adset of my campaign but have gotten only 10 link clicks. I have three UGC testimonials with a hook, an engaging description and a call to action. I’m selling an electric scalp massager. I’ve targeted two interests: hair care and health/wellness, for women aged 25+ in the US. I think I have three solid ad creatives, but I don’t know what I’m doing wrong on the campaign side of things. Somebody help because I’m literally witnessing my money go down the drain as I type this.
Do you know what I can do?
My store page is this: www.scalpify.shop
If you’re not getting any link clicks after spending $50 on Facebook ads, it’s essential to reassess your campaign setup. First, ensure your ad creative is compelling, with a clear message, high-quality visuals, and a strong call to action. Next, confirm that your campaign objective is set to traffic or conversions, which are optimized for link clicks. Review your audience targeting to ensure the ad is reaching a relevant and interested segment. Additionally, verify that your link is functioning correctly and that your landing page loads quickly, especially on mobile. Poor-performing placements or ad formats can also result in wasted spend—consider refining placements and running A/B tests on different creatives. Monitor your ad metrics, such as impressions, reach, and click-through rate (CTR), within Ads Manager to identify performance issues. Lastly, test lower daily budgets with multiple ad variations to find the most effective combination of audience and content. These steps help improve your chances of generating meaningful engagement and optimizing ad spend.

If I may ask which apps do you use to campaign that you didn’t get a good click links.
Maybe you are using the wrong apps.
There are very good apps you could use to campaign to get sales but you don’t know yet.
Feel free to respond back.
And again do you think it is only campaign that could be the cause, it isn’t only campaign, according to your store have you ever tried analyzing the UX and UI, that may be another case why you don’t get sales.
Hi @zbusiness68 , here’s a few quick thoughts:
-
Double-check that your campaign is optimized for link clicks or conversions, not just reach or engagement.
-
Sometimes UGC doesn’t hook fast enough—make sure your first 1–2 seconds stop the scroll, especially for a massager (show the actual “ahh” moment if you can).
-
With broad interests like “hair care” and “wellness,” Facebook might still show your ad to people outside your ideal buyer—try tightening the age range or layering behavior-based filters.
Honestly, what helped me the most when I hit this wall was getting feedback in real time from others running Meta ads. I joined a Discord called ProfitTribe where people post their creatives, test angles, and call out what’s working or not. Just being in the convo helped me stop wasting money on ads that looked good but didn’t perform.
