On the checkout page, limit the phone field to 10 digit numbers.

Hi All,

We’re getting a lot of orders with incorrect or incomplete phone numbers.

In India, mobile numbers are 10 digits, but Shopify accepts 8 digits as well. People also enter Pincodes sometimes. Is there a way to make it mandatory to use 10 digits?

We desperately need it. thanks!

You can remove the option of adding a phone number a requirement for your customers during checkout through your Shopify settings.

We don’t want to do that as Courier partners in India made its mandatory for sellers to provide phone numbers for delivery.

I have seen this functionality in this store - ‘https://bellavitaorganic.com/’ User can put only 10 digits. How can we achieve that? Is there any code?
