Original price crossed and new one in red

Hello everyone!

I’m trying to set a new price for my products due to the sale season. I’d like the new price to come up in red next to the original price in black and crossed. Is it possible?

What kind of products do you currently sell? That’s great that you’re offering your customers a sale price.

In order to have the new price displayed in red next to the original price in black and crossed out, you’ll need to set a compare at price for the specific products. This can help indicate for customers how much they’re saving and the price it was originally listed at. You can also set a compare at price for variants.

Below, I’ll share steps on how to input the compare at price within your Shopify admin. Please note: The value in Compare at price must be higher than the value in Price to show a sale price.

  1. Navigate to Products > All products.

  2. Click the name of a product.

  3. In the Pricing section, set the Compare at price to the product’s original price.

  4. Set the Price of the product to your new sale price.

  5. Click Save.
