Payment Authorization Shows Expired

Hi there,

We are using authorize.net to process our payments and recently we are seeing an issue where Shopify places a tag “Expired” on the payments.

The payment however, gets through on Authorize.net which means customers get charged but in Shopify we get this alert or a tag in some of the orders. Our capture method is at checkout and automatic.

Can someone help us identify why we are seeing this.

Are you perhaps only authorizing the payment and not capturing it? The authorization expires after 7 days if you don’t capture it by then.,
