Hello, I want to open a store for digital products from Lebanon (I am located in Lebanon) , but I also have an account in Cyprus, does that make it easier to integrate payment gateways? Or will I still be facing the same issues faced for Lebanon?

I run a Shopify store as a sole proprietorship (not officially registered as a company yet) and I’m based in Lebanon. My store sells products globally, so I need to be able to accept payments from customers worldwide and then access those funds quickly in Lebanon in order to pay my suppliers.

Here’s my challenge:

  • Current setup: Stripe via a third-party provider, but payouts take 2–3 days and go through Wise. Unfortunately, I cannot pay suppliers directly from Wise, which causes delays.

  • My needs:

    1. A payment gateway that works with Shopify in Lebanon.

    2. Ability to cash out funds quickly (ideally same-day or next-day).

    3. Direct transfer to my Lebanese bank account (where I can use my debit card to pay suppliers).

    4. A solution that works for individuals/sole proprietors, since I don’t have a registered company yet.

:backhand_index_pointing_right: Has anyone in Lebanon (or in a similar situation) found a reliable Shopify-compatible payment gateway that pays out directly to a Lebanese bank account or to a card that can be used for supplier payments?

Any guidance or shared experiences would mean a lot.

  1. Tap Payments does not support unregistered companies.
  2. Rapyd Payments website is down.
  3. Does not have Lebanon in their covered countries list) but contacted anyway.
  4. Netcommerce does not have a website.
