My customer would like to add an item to their order. Usually I would send a payment link after adding the item to their order. Unfortunately I am now seeing the following error

Previously when I would send a payment link it would take my customer to the website checkout stage. Now it seems to be going to the shop app. My customers cannot complete the payment either.

I have also been having trouble with the shopify checkout. Some customers have been having that error for over a week now, and others can checkout fine. I contacted shopify support who gave the usual rubbish about clearing cache etc, and am still waiting for shopify technical support to contact me.
I think there is something going on with the back-end of shopify’s checkout, as I have not changed anything with it myself but it is not working for many people.
