Hello - we’ve experienced 10 consecutive days now of having to reach out to Shopify support and each time they say they will expedite it up and we’ll receive a response from the operations/payout team (still been 10 straight days) and yet no one has responded.
We’ve had this shop for 6+ years and have never experienced anything like this. We are getting little payments released of under $200 daily (today $44) , yet our ‘balance due’ is over $4,500 for over a week. We’re getting hammered with our own bank fees and not being able to pay bills as we rely on our sales cashflow. No one seems to care and it’s been 10 days with no Shopify admins reaching out and giving us an update or answer on what is going on. It’s been quite a ridiculous experience and I can’t comprehend how they’ve allowed it to go on like this for this long.
Same thing has happened to me. They put my payouts on hold and I’ve had 3 live chats with support who said they “escalated” it and it would be resolved within a few days. That was 8 days ago. I have received no communication at all from them since that point. As soon as this is resolved, I’m moving my site to a competitor of theirs. The fact that they don’t have a number that you can call for support is another major issue. I don’t know how their business is still surviving. I know several big sites that are leaving their platform because of this. Please let me know if anybody has had this same issue and how they resolved it.
Yeah it’s insane. We’re on day 11, with each day the advisor ‘escalating’ and that someone on their specialist team will get back to us. Still no effort in reaching out to give us an update on what is going on. We’re absolutely exploring new options. We’ve been customers for 7 years now and the fact that their customer service continues to downgrade is mind-boggling to me. Literally no effort while we are stuck with no cash flow and getting hammered with bank fees and not being able to pay our bills. Wishing you better luck.
