Here is an issue I have been having and an email I sent to Shopify CEO. I have contacted and spoke with the HELPLESS support advisors for 2 business days regarding my payouts reflecting “Pending” status from sales back on 01/25/25 along with a chargeback that I won from all the way back in November 2024. Shopify is stealing and holding my money! Has anyone else had an issue like this? Email is below:
Hello Tobi,
I am writing to you because I am upset and frustrated with the experience that I have had this week pertaining to my store.
I have a payout that has been sitting in “pending status” from store sales back on 01/25/25 and a chargeback that I won from 01/28/25. I have contacted your help team and advisors each and every day since Wednesday and I keep getting the same response over and over again with no resolution to this issue. I keep being told that my tickets have been escalated to the payouts team and it is being reviewed. Well it has been 48 business hours and no one still has the answer as to why my funds are not being paid out to my bank account.
I have been using Shopify’s services for my store for a little under 2 years now and have NEVER had an issue up until now. I have seen the feedback in the Shopify community and I am not the only one who has had this issue and a lot of other store owners have not had their issues just like mine resolved. I rely and depend on this money and for Shopfiy to HOLD and not release my funds is stealing from my business.
I am beyond frustrated and no one on your help team is reliable, helpful or can handle this type of request apparently. I need this issue resolved ASAP and would like a follow up within 48 hours.
