Pinterest Says Domain Age does not Meet Their Requirements

I downloaded Pinterest to run ads on its website. They did not approve my domain because they said it did not meet domain age requirements and that my return policy was unclear. I am doing dropshipping. What am I overlooking? Please help.

Hi,** @Cocoa32 **.

Because Pinterest is a third-party sales channel, it’s best to reach out to the Pinterest Support Team instead as they are best equipped to answer any queries regarding their approval process. You can contact the Pinterest team here.

I also found a couple of posts within Pinterest’s own Business Community Forums that addresses your queries, feel free to take a closer look at them:

If you are a new merchant trying to connect your website catalog to Pinterest these are key things Pinterest is looking for:

  • Merchant must have a Pinterest account older than 3 months (domain age)
  • Your website must display a dedicated “about us” page with original content
  • Your website must display contact email, phone number or live chat.
  • The merchant must have an easy to find and clear return policy, that displays whether the merchant accepts returns, the process and time expectations for returns (if applicable), and contact information.
  • The merchant must have an easy to find and clear shipping policy that displays expected shipping time.

Read the Merchant Guidelines to ensure compliance with ALL requirements.

You are allowed only 2 appeals.

Hiya,

When you say Merchant must have a Pinterest account older than 3 months (domain age) do you mean if you set up a pinterest account it has to be 3 months old or do you mean your business website domain must have been active for 3 months or older.

Thanks
