Pinterest tag health suggestions such as Addtocart event code - Debut theme

Since Pinterest is integrated with my shop do I still need to manually add their tag health suggestions to the Debut code? If so, how do I do this? How do I get the product IDs to match? I would have thought that part should have been handled by the integration process. Here is the info from Pinterest:

Event name
Notes

Page Visit

We are detecting this event and the necessary parameters. No action is needed

Add To Cart

Add an Add to Cart event that fires when someone adds a product to your cart.

Product ID
Make sure you are including Product IDs in your Add to Cart events. A Product ID can be any format that you choose as long as it matches the format used by your Catalog.

Checkout

We are detecting this event, but at least one parameter needs action.

Value

Currency
If you choose to include Currency with your Checkout events, make sure you follow the ISO 4217 format. If left blank, this will default to your Pinterest billing currency. Example Values: USD, GBP, CAD, EUR

Product ID
Too few of the Product IDs included in your Checkout events match the Product IDs in your Catalog.

Thanks!

Just wondering if you figured out how to do this? I have the same problem.

No, but I read somewhere to give it a few days and it should start to correct itself as it gets more info. That seemed to happen and my tag health now says good. There are still some warnings, but my guess is it’s because I haven’t had any sales yet. Once that happens, supposedly then it can connect enough of the dots and fix the tags. I think.

“To track health-related events like ‘Add to Cart’ on a website using the Debut theme, integrate Pinterest Tag code. Create the event, copy the code, and add it to your site’s section. Test to ensure accuracy, including tracking ‘Add to Cart’ events for Botox in Albany, NY. Monitor Pinterest Analytics for insights.”

Could you elaborate on how to do this? Where would you integrate the tag code? I thought this would automatically happen once I integrated it into my store. Also if you could break down what the code should be and how to create the event that would be extremely helpful! It’s so crazy that Pinterest gives no guidance on this.
