We are making a Shopify app that will provided the orders with manual (custom) payment method. We provide instructions to store admin to add manual payment method. We are facing 3 problems are given below:

Our concern is that when we place the order from storefront on the development store then Shopify does not allow to place order with the manual payment method. See the attached screenshots. Is it possible to place this type of order from storefront and how?

When we place the order from the store admin then we select this manual payment method. After that the order status becomes the paid on the development store. Could you me show the way how to place the manual payment method order with pending status from Shopify admin?

Also, let me know payment for the live (paid) store. When a customer place a order with manual payment method from storefront on the live store then what is the payment status of that order in the Shopify admin?
