I wonder; Is there a way - process to test a manual payment method.
We are working on some post-checkout business flows, and we need to test how they work in conjunction with manual payment methods.
Can we do such tests on a development store?

While there are some limitations with development stores, I checked in with our Partners team to see if processing manual payments through test orders is one of them.
They’ve confirmed that in order to process a test order on a development store, you must use one of the following methods:

Use Shopify’s Bogus Gateway to simulate a transaction

Enable test mode for your payment provider:
That being said, they did suggest that you contact Partner Support directly so they can review your use-case and advise on next steps and any possible workarounds. You can contact Partner Support directly through your Partner Dashboard, as well as through the Shopify Help Center.
