Please help... clicking menu links is making elements on screen shake left and right

I’m setting up my shop using the Supply theme and was about 2/3s of the way towards having the design set up. Then earlier this week I tried using two different mega menu apps, first Meteor and then, after I removed Meteor, Qikify’s Smart Menu, which I also removed after trying it. I also deleted any instances I could find of their code in the code files. Searches in the code no longer brings up any instances of “meteor” or “qikify”.

Ever since, clicking any level in my drop down menus, including the top link in my header, causes the menus and other elements on the screen to “shake,” moving left and right in a very noticeable and disconcerting way. It’s especially noticeable in the header. I don’t think it did this before I installed the two menu apps.

In case the shaking was caused by large image files, I also deleted all of my image files but it didn’t stop the shaking. I’ve also seen that occasionally clicking a menu link doesn’t cause the shaking, although most of the time it does.

I tried using the other free themes to see if it was my system causing the problem, but it’s only happening in the Supply theme. I’ve also tested it both on a Mac and pc, and the problem is the same on both.

I hope someone can tell me how to fix this, and thanks in advance for any help!

Pat

I did more testing by uploading a new version of the Supply template and creating a new main menu. I put a single link in the new menu and still had the shaking left and right problem. I tried it with and without a dropdown, and the problem occurred in both situations.

I also noticed that clicking the tag links that are generated on the collections page also causes the display to shake back and forth.

I haven’t a clue what’s causing this and am still hoping someone can help fix it.

Thanks,
Pat

I’ve looked now at other shops and demos using the Supply theme, and the drop down menus all had the same problem. So I’m going to look for a different theme instead.
