Please help, Shopify not letting me put in my own store address

Hello - I’m trying to put in my store address on the Store Details page, and Shopify is throwing an error saying Street is invalid: The address number is out of range. Please verify your address with USPS and try again.

Is there any way around this? My store’s address is correct! I’ve tried a couple different variations on it but it’s not working. This address won’t even work: 1000 8th Ave, New York NY 10019

The store’s actual address is 1000S 8th Ave, New York NY 10019 (because it’s underground in the subway system.) I tried it without the S above and even that won’t work, I’m at a loss.

Whoa that’s weird.

I found a USPS validator and a UPS validator, both kicked back this address format:

1000S 8TH AVE
NEW YORK NY 10019-1861

If that doesn’t work, I’d probably contact Shopify support since it’s the official address registered by USPS.
